It is actually not a snake but an Eel that lives mainly in Hawaii, the Midway Islands and French Frigate Shoals. I got this photograph at Molokini Crater in Hawaii at about 60 feet in depth in one of the sand channels on the Western inner side of the crater. The scientific name is Callechelys lutea.
